Day 1, Part 3

He just called me again to have me look up the address of a restaurant. Apparently a lot of people are going out to dinner, although he "is probably not going to go," because he wants to "save his money and do drinks a different night." I made a crack about how he said he was going to be home soon several hours ago. He said that there was another session at the conference and it wasn't his fault. And since he said that he probably isn't going out to dinner, I know that means that he probably is. I don't even know why he says these things. I doubt he even believes himself. So, whatever. At least I know that he isn't going to be home "soon." Although I figured that out as soon as he said it. I really do hope that he has fun, and I really don't care what he does--I just HATE the discrepancies between what he SAYS and what he does. He should just not say anything.
