Day 3

I ended up spending the evening at K's. She had a dinner party. I felt a little guilty hanging out there after canceling movie night, but I liked not having to walk four (large) blocks to hang out with people, and I gel so well with K. It was just much more relaxing than movie night would have been. I stayed there until about 11:30.

I came back upstairs to find that he still wasn't home. I watched some TV, and then eventually freaked out when he still wasn't home by after 1:00. I called him several times and texted him, just to make sure he was alive somewhere (I figured he would be home earlier since he had to wake up for the conference again today), then, after about six failed attempts to reach him, eventually went to sleep at his house. It is hard to explain why I went to his apartment. It must be something like how my parents used to make me wake them up when I got home from an evening out so they could go back to sleep knowing that I was okay. In any case, he got home around 2, and was very surprised to find me in his apartment (he had knocked on my door before going to his apartment, and was surprised that I wasn't there). We watched a couple of episodes of Cheers on his laptop, then I came home to sleep.

He came into my apartment this morning to get help buttoning the top button of his dress shirt (it was a little tight around the neck), and asked if I wanted to watch a movie with him this afternoon. I said, "Yeah, maybe." We'll see if he actually comes home this afternoon.

As for my outburst Thursday night, when he got home last night he said that he thought I was still mad at him. Considering the fact that I cannot remember most of what I said, I just let it all go. I will bring up the "I've fallen in love with you" comment at a better, and more sober, time.

Now I need to shower and get some reading done. At least a little. I at least need to get SOMETHING done today. Once I have a chance to drink a couple cups of coffee and perk up...
